22RF Precision Match

The 22 RF Precision Match combines benchrest shooting with Outlaw NRL-style stages. Due to other range commitments, this match is held every other month.

The match includes five stages: three benchrest stages shot from the benches and two Outlaw NRL-style stages. Adaptive shooters will shoot the entire match from the benches, while standing prop shooters will shoot the Outlaw NRL stages from the shooting props. Total round count is 50 to 54 rounds, not including sight-in rounds. Scores are based on confirmed hits on hanging steel and individual decorative targets.

For decades, PSC shot IDPA matches.  Due to numerous repeated rule changes, the Club has dropped its IDPA affiliation and now shoots what we call "PSC Outlaw Matches."  Our match rules are much like IDPA matches several years ago, with some very significant improvements.

Each match consists of a number of different scenarios that simulate realistic defensive shooting situations.  A competitor receives a score for each scenario in the match and the lowest total score wins.  The score is a composite of the raw time to shoot each scenario, plus time added for points down on targets and any procedural penalties
