In response to input from Club Members, the PSC Shooting Club, Inc. Bylaws were amended at the Meeting on June 4, 2026. The requirement to be a member of the NRA in order to join or renew PSC membership has been repealed, effective July 1, 2026.
PSC always has and always will support the Second Amendment by making membership in a 2A organization a requirement of membership in the Club. Members can still meet this requirement by being a member of the NRA, but now they have options. PSC Members can be a member of any of the following organizations: 1) Texas State Rifle Association (TSRA); 2) National Rifle Association of America ( NRA); or 3) Gun Owners of America (GOA)
As noted above, this change is effective July 1, 2026 and will apply to all incoming new Members and people renewing their PSC membership next year for 2027-2028. This will allow our Members time to decide which organization(s) they want to support. The temporary suspension of the requirement to be a member of the NRA will expire at midnight on June 30, 2026.
